The Aprilia RS440 was recently spotted testing on Indian roads. The sports bike is expected to be launched in the country soon. As a result, it goes without saying that the competition in this segment is going to be tougher.
Aprilia RS440 sports bike is coming
The premium sports bike Aprilia RS440 is expected to compete with KTM RC 390, Ninja 400 and Yamaha R3 in the Indian market. Its full faired design is inspired from the RS660. The bike gets an underbelly exhaust, which enhances its design to a great extent.
Apart from this, the Aprilia RS440 has a sari guard (which has confirmed its launch in the Indian market. It also has a split seat setup with clip-on handlebars. Powering the bike is a 440 cc parallel engine that produces 48 bhp of power. It has 6 -speed gearbox, features like slipper clutch, quick shifter, ride-by-wire.
The motorcycle is expected to come with a 17-20 liter fuel tank. Aprilia RS440 will offer full digital instrument cluster. It may also have a TFT unit. The bike may be launched in India at a price of Rs 4 lakh. It may enter the country’s market in the latter half of 2023 or early 2024. It will be known as the company’s cheapest bike in India after its release.
