PUBG Erangel 2.0 all set to launch on September 8 in India, confirmed by developers


PUBG Erangel 2.0 is ready to make its debut in India on September 8 in India. Game developers tease a poster on its Official twitter handle. part of its new era announcement. Furthermore, the account also unveiled “The Dawn of a New Era” community event in which players will get a chance to win 30,000 UC (in-game currency).

PUBG is finally all set to launch a new revamped version of the Erangel map in India. PUBG posted a poster on their official Twitter handle. As per the teaser, Game developers will launch Erangel 2.0 in India on September 8. However, the beta version of the map already available in India for beta version users but now game developers finally made the decision to launch the map for all PUBG players in the country.



Moreover, PUBG Mobile also revealed a Dawn of a New Era competition that will give a chance to players to win 30,000 UC. Players need to send their screenshots and clips from the current Erangel map. The competition divided into three categories – favourite Chicken Dinner memory (screenshot of the clip), favourite screenshot on Erangel, and favourite Erangel video clip. Each category will have three winners and each winner will collect UC rewards.


Recently, The 1.0 update brings developments to the characters, environments. The texture quality and lighting systems have been enhanced as well. It also adds more realism to the sky, water, and vegetation.


Many more changes had been introduced in the map such as the addition of new map elements including forgotten trenches, tree-trunk barriers, abandoned tanks, and bunkers. Primary areas in the map like Sosnovka Military Base, Mylta Power, Mansion, Prison, Mini Zone and others will get rebalanced loot, gear, and other resources. The 1.0 update also brings Ultra-HD textures to PUBG Mobile and Erangel 2.0 is also coming.
