PUBG Mobile might be unbanned in India soon: report

PUBG Mobile might be unbanned in India soon, A new job listing on LinkedIn reveals that the game could be back with a new name, PUBG Corporation. The Indian government has banned 117 Apps including PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile lite back in September under the provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009.


PUBG Unbanned? PUBG Corp Is Hiring In India



According to the latest report, PUBG Corporation, the creator and publisher of popular battle royale games recently listed a job posting on LinkedIn to hire a “Corporate Development Division Manager” in India. The company wants to hire a person which develops an overall strategy for mergers and acquisitions and investments with a focus on the Indian market. Moreover, The candidate may also have to support the setup process for PUBG India with guidance under Krafton’s headquarters in South Korea. So, It is expected that the game might be back in the country with a new name, PUBG Corporation.


One important thing to be noted that the company has only mentioned PUBG and not PUBG Mobile in the job description. So, It is not guaranteed that the company is hiring a new manager of its original game or for its mobile version.


Previously, Some reports also suggest that the company could be a partnership with Reliance Jio or Airtel to make a comeback in India.
