Amazon Echo Show 10 launched today as the third generation variant of the Echo Show that was first launched in 2017. The new Echo Show has a motorized base that swivels automatically to keep you in the frame, whenever you interact with the device. Amazon says it is a “complete re-imagination of Alexa with a screen and has been upgraded in every way.” Amazon also announced that Echo Show devices will also support Netflix.

Amazon Echo Show 10 features a 10.1-inch adaptive HD display that tracks the user’s faces through a brushless motor system that allows it to rotate without any sound and track the subject. Users can interact through Alexa via Voice commands. The echo show 10 is powered by the new AZ1 processor that can process speech faster, making Alexa more responsive.
The Echo Show 10 by Amazon features a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera that keeps you in the frame by panning and zooming. You can make and receive video calls on the Echo Show 10. There is also a physical camera shutter that can be closed to turn off its motion. This can also be done by giving a voice command to Alexa “Alexa, turn off motion.”
Amazon claimed that the dual front-firing tweeters and a woofer of Echo Show 10 deliver directional sound automatically adapting to your space. The company has also confirmed the Netflix support for Echo Show devices. But an exact date for when this feature will be added has not been announced yet.
Echo Show 10 can act as a security camera as well by securely access the camera from anywhere. But set up Alexa Guard to help you keep your home and family safe. Once it’s set up, Alexa can send you Smart Alerts if your Echo device detects the sound of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, or glass breaking.
Amazon says the Echo Show 10 including the cable and adapter has been made from 30 percent post-consumer recycled plastics, 100 percent post-consumer recycled fabric, and 100 percent recycled diecast aluminum.
Amazon Echo Show 10 Price
Amazon Echo Show 10 is priced at $249.99 (roughly Rs. 18,400) in the US and comes in two color options – Charcoal and Glacier White. Amazon hasn’t revealed the exact date for the sale of Echo Show 10 but it is listed on the Amazon US website as ‘coming soon’.
