Preparations for the Maha Kumbh 2025 Mela in Prayagraj are in full swing. Lakhs of devotees will visit this fair. Telecom major Airtel has taken major steps to ensure that they do not face any problem with mobile connectivity. India's second largest telecom company has announced that it is going to install several new mobile towers, which will provide better network connectivity to the fair premises.
Airtel said that 287 new mobile sites will be created on their behalf. Besides, the network will also be enhanced through 340 sites in the region. Along with this they are also keeping 74 km fiber network. The company has also prepared special 78 Cells on Wheels (COROs) for network connectivity at the fair premises.
There will be no network issues during the fair
Airtel is trying to ensure that customers do not face any mobile connectivity issues during Mahakumbh Mela 2025. Not just the fair grounds, Prayagraj will not have any problems like call-drops from highways to railway stations, airports, hotels and high traffic areas. The organization has set up three war rooms in Jhunsi, Arail and Sangam areas.
The organization's disaster management team will be sent necessary resources, additional generators, diesel and critical equipment to ensure that services are not affected due to any technical glitches during the event. More than 780 kiosks have been installed in collaboration with the Prayagraj Traffic Police, which will help in crowd control.
