Airtel service was disrupted yesterday across the country. The suffering begins in the morning. Many customers complain that they are facing problems with calling and using the Internet. It is alleged that the company’s broadband connectivity was closed, not just the mobile network. That is why there are problems with everything from office work to online classes. Last week, Airtel customers suffered almost the same problem.
Disrupted Airtel service from morning
According to the website tracker, downtown, the first complaint came from Airtel’s service from 5am to 5pm. The situation reached the worst in the afternoon at 12 noon. At that time, more than 3,000 customers could not use the call or the Internet together. According to the Downtector report, about 12 percent of customers are unable to call, 12 percent of customers are not able to use the Internet and about 5 percent of the customers suffer from full network blackout.
It is reported that Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kotak and Kolkata Airtel customers were particularly affected. On August 8, customers suffered almost the same problem. At that time, at least 3,000 customers across the country complained.
Anger on social media
Unhappy customers have raised their outrage by writing allegations on various social media including X, Facebook. Someone wrote, “@Airtelindia is completely closed in our area.” Another user complained, “Karnataka is airtel down from morning. No calls are being made, or the Internet is being used. Please solve it quickly.”
Airtel to solve the problem
After receiving complaints from millions of customers, the airtel sat down and the service became active as the afternoon. Although the company did not report the exact cause of the problem.
