There were rumors that Bharti Airtel will soon increase the price of their plans. Similarly, this telco has quietly increased the price of its Rs 118 and Rs 289 plans. It is believed that through this move, Airtel will be able to increase the average revenue per user i.e. ARPU slightly compared to earlier.
Note that Airtel’s Rs 118 plan is not a prepaid plan, it is a data voucher. Its current price is 129 rupees. And the price of 289 rupees recharge plan has been increased to 329 rupees. Currently these plans are available on both Airtel’s websites as well as mobile apps.

This is a data voucher from Airtel, which offers customers a total of 12GB data. And apart from data, there are no other benefits available with this plan. However, the data provided in this plan can be used by the users at any time. And remember, the user needs to have a valid base prepaid plan recharge to use it. It should be noted that earlier users had to spend Rs 9.83 per GB of data. And for the increase in price, now every user has to spend 10.75 rupees.
329 plan of Airtel
Airtel’s Rs 289 plan has now been increased to Rs 329. And with this, the daily cost of users has increased from 8.25 taka to 9.4 taka. This is a plan of the telco, which offers users several GB of data, SMS and voice calls for a short period of time.
