India’s second largest telecom operator Airtel may soon increase the recharge plan prices in the country. However, the network provider did not confirm any specific time frame for the tariff hike. However, it is expected that Airtel may increase the recharge plan price in the second half of 2024.

One thing to note is that there has been no significant change in the current tariff rates of the Indian telecom sector since December 2021. In this regard, companies have made a new norm of tariff hike every 2-3 years since the launch of 4G in the country. Apart from Airtel, Jio and Vi may also increase tariffs
