Ampere Electric is known for its scooters. This company has multiple scooter variants in the market. This time the company released the electric bike concept. The company showcased the two-wheeler “Ampere Xyber” concept at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The audience was impressed by the design. The bike has a modern design. There is a split seat. The battery is under the seat.
Along with design, Ampere has given equal importance to features and range. The company claims that this cyber concept e-bike is capable of giving a range of 200 kilometers on a full charge. Currently, they outsell electric scooters. But it can be called a prototype at the moment. From a concept or an idea that the company has the ability to bring such bikes in the future.
Ampere Xyber Electric Bike Features
The battery capacity is not known. But it is known that it is LFP technology. Able to give a range of 200 kilometers on a full charge. Besides, 10 kW electric motor will be available. The maximum speed of the bike is 100 km per hour. Both wheels have disc brakes. ABS will also be available, but it is not yet clear whether it will be single or dual channel.
Other features include a TFT display with Google Maps navigation, a speedometer, battery charge status, available range viewing facility and ride mode. The TFT display can be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth. Get call/SMS alerts and music control. There is LED lighting throughout the bike.
It is not yet known when the production of the bike will start. However, a report claims that it may be launched by the end of the year. The Ampere Xyber will take on electric bikes like the Revolt RV400. Since there are electric scooters in the country, the number of bikes is quite low, many feel that the companies have a good chance to consolidate the land.
