Before the launch of Royal Enfield Gorilla 450, news of another new motorcycle of the company came to the fore. Royal Enfield is bringing a scrambler bike based on the Interceptor 650 model, pictures of which have been leaked online. It is rumored to launch in November. The official name is unknown, but it is claimed that the bike could be marketed as Bear 650.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 looks similar to Interceptor 650 in the picture. However, several changes have been made to bring the Scrambler style. For example, the handlebars are separate and have braces. Upside down forks are seen in place of traditional telescopic forks. This means that this is the company's first 650cc bike, which is getting a USD fork. While the Interceptor has a dual exhaust system, the Scrambler model will get a single exhaust.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has a mud guard on the header pipe. Installing side number boards on both sides to give a Scrambler feel. The bike will be offered with a round instrument cluster, but it is not clear whether it will have a TFT setup. According to some previous spy shots, this motorcycle will have dual purpose tires and it will be taken from SEAT company.
Like Royal Enfield's other 650cc models, this Scrambler bike will also be powered by a 648cc parallel twin engine, producing 47bhp of maximum power and 52Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. It could be launched at the company's Motoverse 2024 event in November. The price is expected to be between 3.20 lakhs.
