800 km in one charge! Tesla can launch these 5 cars in India first to shake the market

The wait for Tesla’s arrival in India is about to end. Tesla boss Elon Musk expressed interest in starting business in India during a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. He termed India as an ideal country for business. Meanwhile, Tata Motors currently dominates India’s electric car market. While the luxury car market is led by companies like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo and BMW. Tesla’s name is going to be added to that list. Now the question is which five models can the world’s largest electric car manufacturer launch first in India? Let’s take a look.

Tesla Model 3

Currently Tesla’s cheapest car is the Model 3 sedan. It is able to easily defeat opponents with its popularity. The vehicle is offered in 50 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack variants. It is claimed to provide a range of 550 km on a full charge.

Tesla Model X

Model X is a high-performance electric car. Tesla claims that the car can travel 565 kilometers on a full charge. It has a 75 kWh battery pack. The cabin has a huge 17-inch infotainment screen and automatic driving capabilities.

Tesla Model Y

Tesla Model Y is an electric crossover. It is available in two battery options – 67 kWh and 81 kWh. Tesla claims the car has a range of 530 kilometers on a full charge. The car is quite popular in the Chinese and American markets.

Tesla Semi

The Semi is basically an electric truck. If it comes to India, it will make the country’s cargo transport sector eco-friendly. Companies like Walmart, Pepsi Co already use Tesla Semi for product delivery. It has three motors. The car is available in multiple battery options and offers a range of 800 km on a single charge.

Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck is a model that the whole world has been waiting for. It was first shown in 2019. Since then, the car’s production process has been disrupted several times. The electric pick-up vehicle is claimed to be a hybrid of trucks and sports cars. It can be optioned with all-wheel drive dual-motor and all-wheel drive tri-motor setups. 800 km range will be available from the 100 kWh battery pack present in it.
