Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL is the only state run telecom operator. Although this company lags far behind other telecom companies, they are moving towards certain targets in the race of competition. BSNL has already launched 4G services in Punjab, which will soon spread across the country. But along with the good news, there is also a bad news for customers. In fact, the government telecom company has recently changed one of its most popular prepaid plans, after which customers will get less benefits.
398 plan of BSNL
This Rs 398 prepaid plan of BSNL was the company’s unique prepaid plan some time back. But after the company introduced some changes in this plan, it lost its zeal.
BSNL was once the only telecom operator in the Indian market offering prepaid plans with unlimited data. And its validity was 30 days. That means customers don’t have to worry about how much data they are using during these 30 days. But now something special has been changed in this plan.
BSNL now offers 120 GB data in Rs 398 plan. And it offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day to the customers. But it doesn’t come with any additional benefits. However, after the changes to the plan, its popularity decreased somewhat. But hopefully, once BSNL 4G service is rolled out across the world, this plan will become attractive to customers again.
