Vodafone Idea or VI’s Rs 49 plan comes with a short-validity of just one day. As a result if one recharges the plan, it will expire at 11:59 PM on that date. However, the validity will be less but it will get a total of 20GB data, where earlier the plan only offered 6GB data.
In that case, this Rs 49 plan of Vodafone will mainly meet the needs of those users who want to use a lot of data for a short time or for sudden needs at a nominal cost. This is especially useful when downloading a large file or streaming a Twenty-Twenty (T20) cricket match in high quality over mobile data.
Incidentally, the Rs 49 data plan was first launched by Airtel in the Indian telecom sector, followed by others like Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea. In that case, Vodafone will now revise the plan and provide benefits equivalent to Airtel and Jio.
