Vivo X300 Pro and X300 smartphones were launched in China earlier this month. Now the devices are going to come to India as well. Recently they have appeared in India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. Besides, the handset has also been included in several certification platforms in both global markets. As a result, Vivo X300 Pro and X300 will soon be available outside of China. Today, a popular tipster has brought forward the specifications of the Indian variants of the two phones. He claims that both the upcoming devices will support telephoto extender kits.
Vivo X300 series may launch in India with Zeiss telephoto extender kit
Tipster Yogesh Brar told the SmartPrix website that the Indian variants of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will support the new Zeiss telephoto extender kit. Both smartphones will feature a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lens, offering optical zoom without compromising image clarity.
It is known that the Vivo X300 Pro model will get up to 8.8x optical zoom, while the standard X300 model will support about 7x zoom. The teleconverter will increase the focal length to 200mm on the Pro device and 165mm on the standard model. A dedicated teleconverter mode is also available within the camera app.
Vivo X300 series camera features
The Chinese version of the Vivo X300 Pro device features a Zeiss-optimized triple rear camera system, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with OIS. It features V3+ and Vs1 imaging processors.
Meanwhile, the standard Vivo X300 model has a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-602 periscope camera. A 50-megapixel front camera is present for selfies and video calls.
Other specifications
Each of the Vivo X300 series handsets is powered by MediaTek Dimension 9500 processor and runs on Android 16 based Origin OS 6 custom skin. The R Pro and base variants are powered by 6510 mAh and 6040 mAh batteries respectively, which support 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
