Apple again proved that there is no one before the premium smartphone market. According to a recently published report by Counter Point Research, IPhone 16 is at the top of the list of smartphones in the world in the first quarter of 2021 (Q1). After two years, a base model on the iPhone has set the record for the most sale again.
IPhone 16 launched last year has mainly won the hearts of consumers because of the slim design, powerful A18 chip, advanced camera system and new iOS 18 operating system features. In Japan, the Middle East and Africa, especially in Africa, there is a huge demand for this model. The base variant of the device in Japan is most sold, the report said.
Counter Point Research also said on their blog that Apple has four models of the five smartphones sold in the first quarter of 2021 – IPhone 16, IPhone 16 Pro Max, IPhone 16 Pro, and IPhone 15 (Model of 2021). Iphone 16 Plus is in fifth place. This success is a reflection of the buyers' confidence in Apple's brand value and innovative technology.
Apart from the above phones, Apple's new smartphone IPhone 16E, March 2021, has risen to sixth place in terms of sales. It has A18 Bionic chip and advanced display and good camera system.
