Redmi K30 Pro debuted in the market in March 2020. It was the first K series model from the company to feature a telephoto camera. After more than four and a half years, they launched another phone with a telephoto camera in November 2024, the Redmi K80 Pro. Rumors are rife that work has already begun on an upgraded version of the phone. The upcoming Redmi K90 Pro will be equipped with a Periscope telephoto camera, which is claimed to take mobile photography to a new level.
Redmi K90 Pro Specifications
China's famous tipster digital chat station talked about the “Pro” model of a sub-series phone from a well-known brand in its Weibo post. Although the name of the device has not been clearly mentioned, the comment section suggests that the Redmi K90 Pro model is being mentioned.
New reports suggest that the Redmi K90 Pro smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Last year's K80 Pro model's telephoto camera offers 2.5x optical zoom and a 60mm focal length. The inclusion of a new periscope camera is expected to give the K90 Pro a superior photography experience, especially when it comes to long-range zoom shots.
This new premium phone from Redmi is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, which is rumored to be released in October this year. On the front, there will be a flat OLED panel with 2K resolution. Besides, nothing is known about other specifications. The phone may be officially launched in China in November.
