iPhone 16 series images leaked online, Apple adding bronze color for the first time

The leak is a picture of a dummy unit of the Pro model of the Apple iPhone 16 series. The device will be available in a new and attractive bronze shade.

Apple is all set to launch its upcoming iPhone 16 lineup next month. Although several months before the launch, there have been speculations about this series of devices. Now a source has revealed the color options of the new iPhone 16 Pro model, let's get to know them in detail.

The possible color options of the iPhone 16 Pro model have come forward

The tipster known for leaking dummy units, Sonny Dixon, has now released an image that shows the iPhone 16 Pro in four different shades. The most eye-catching of these is a bronze option, which appears to replace the blue titanium option currently available on the iPhone 15 Pro phones. The information is consistent with a Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post by tipster Digital Chat Station, who also mentioned a bronze iPhone 16 Pro Max model.

Other color options pictured include the familiar white, black and grey, which can be had in either silver or the existing “Natural Titanium” finish. This leaked image follows Sonny Dixon's previous post, which showed the iPhone 16 Pro in white, black and grey/silver, without the bronze option.

Apart from the exterior, various sources have hinted at what the iPhone 16 Pro might offer. The Pro models are rumored to have larger displays than their predecessors. The iPhone 16 Pro model can come with a 6.3-inch OLED panel and the iPhone 16 Pro Max phone with a 6.9-inch display.

Cameras on upcoming iPhones will also be upgraded. The ultra-wide lens of the iPhone 16 Pro model is believed to be a 48-megapixel sensor instead of the 12-megapixel sensor of its predecessor. Besides, it will have the much anticipated tetraprism periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom For enhanced performance, the iPhone 16 Pro lineup could be powered by the A18 Pro processor built using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's (TSMC) second-generation 3 nanometer process node (N3E).

Notably, Sony Dickson has also leaked images of dummy units of the non-Pro iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models. The standard model is said to come in more vibrant color shades, namely Blue, Yellow, Pink, Green and Black. They will likely feature a redesigned rear camera module with a vertical lens solution. This change is said to facilitate the creation of 3D images and videos for compatibility with the Apple Vision Pro VR headset.

Both non-Pro models are expected to feature Apple's self-developed A18 3-nanometer processor, the Action button seen on the latest Apple devices, and a new “Capture” button within the Camera app for easy zoom, focus, and capture controls. It is also reported that all four iPhone 16 models will have 8GB of RAM and will support Apple's AI initiative, Apple Intelligence.
