Xiaomi is going to launch its upcoming foldable smartphones in China and global markets soon. These include the next-generation model of the company's book-style foldable and the brand's first clamshell foldable, the Xiaomi Mix Flip. Several details about the upcoming handsets have already leaked online. And now the Xiaomi Mix Flip smartphone has been spotted on Thailand's NBTC certification platform. Xiaomi Mix Flip got NBTC certification
A smartphone with model number 2405CPX3DG has appeared on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification platform. This certification confirms that the upcoming phone will make its debut in the global market soon as the Xiaomi Mix Flip. Apart from the model number and name, the certification reveals that the device will support network connectivity up to 5G.
The upcoming clamshell smartphone was also recently spotted on the IMDA certification platform, confirming Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Near Field Communication (NFC) support. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun was recently spotted using a clamshell smartphone, which is expected to be the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The upcoming flip phone may debut in China in July along with devices like Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Redmi K7 Ultra.
It is rumored that the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone's foldable screen will offer 1.5K resolution and 520 ppi pixel density. The upcoming device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone will run on Android 14 based HyperOS (HyperOS) custom skin.
Also, the leaked schematic renders confirmed the presence of a large rectangular camera module on the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone, which will house a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 60-megapixel secondary OV6A camera with 2x optical zoom. Also, China Compulsory Certification (CCC) revealed that the device will support 67W fast charging technology.
