Be it India or other countries, 125 cc bikes are in demand everywhere. Considering that, Honda launched the updated version of their popular 125 cc motorcycle bike. Which is called Honda Grom. But it is smaller in size than a normal 125 cc bike. The company mainly designed the bike for bikers in their sixties. Currently the company sells this bike in several international markets. This small body bike is very pleasant to ride.
The new version of the Honda Grom bike has been launched
The LED headlight on the new version of the Honda Grom has a more angular design than before. Again the design of the tank panel has also been changed. Most importantly, the design of the current model is sharper. The company has also brought surprises in the color options of the bike to bring beauty. These are Pearl White, Cherry Red and Candy Blue. There is another variant of the bike called Grom SP, which is available in matte black metallic color with belly pan and silver accents.
As before, the Honda Grom rests on a steel mono backbone chassis. It comes with 31mm USD front fork and rear monoshock suspension. There are 12-inch alloy wheels with single disc brakes at the front and rear. Brakes are provided by a 220mm disc at the front with two-pot calipers and a 190mm disc at the rear with a single-pot caliper.
Powering the Honda Grom is a 123.9 cc single cylinder, SOHC engine. It will produce a maximum power of 9.6 hp and 10 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This bike has been launched in America. There, the base, SP and ABS versions are priced at $3,599 (approximately Rs. 3 lakh), $3,699 (approximately Rs. 3.08 lakh) and $3,799 (approximately Rs. 3.17 lakh), respectively.
