Feature-packed Poco F6 Pro got FCC clearance, launch is not long

Xiaomi-owned well-known smartphone brand Poco is expected to launch the standard Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro under its F6 series next week. Of these, the Poco F6 Pro was recently spotted in Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification database. And now, the phone has appeared on the FCC certification platform in the United States. Let’s see what information about Poco F6 Pro emerged from there.

Poco F6 Pro received FCC approval

Poco F6 Pro phone with model number 23113RKC6G is listed in Federal Communications Commission database of United States. According to its listing, the handset will offer a 4880 mAh battery. The phone will run on the company’s latest Hyper OS 1.0 software. It will also support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi networks.

Alas, no information about the specifications of the Poco F6 Pro has surfaced from the FCC database. However, the model number of the upcoming Poco F6 Pro, 23113RKC6G is similar to the Redmi K70 phone’s model number, 23113RKC6C. The letters ‘G’ and ‘C’ at the end refer to the global and Chinese variants. This indicates that the Poco F6 Pro will be launched in the global market as a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 available in China.

Notably, the standard Redmi K70 phone debuted in China in November last year alongside the Redmi K70e and Redmi K70 Pro. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with Adreno 740 GPU and 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM. For power backup, the Redmi K70 offers a large 5,000mAh battery with Surge G1 battery management chip and 120W fast charging support with Surge P2 charging management chip.

Apart from that, Redmi K70 has a 6.67-inch OLED display on the front with 2K resolution, 4000 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision support and 120 Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the Redmi K70’s triple-rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 800 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And in front of the phone is a 16 megapixel selfie camera. The weight of the phone is around 209 grams.
