Xiaomi recently announced the new Turbo-series under its sub-brand Redmi. The company has confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 3 will debut soon as the first handset in the new lineup. However, apart from the name, no information regarding its specifications has been shared so far. However, the handset has been listed on Geekbench in Halfil. The listing on this benchmarking site has revealed information about the processor variant of the phone. Again, renders and hands-on images of the handset have been leaked online. According to the newly leaked images, the Redmi Turbo 3 will offer a unique back design, which has not been seen on any other Redmi branded phone before.
The design of the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone has been leaked before the official launch
As seen in the render, the camera module is positioned across the top of the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone. But what catches the most attention is the styling of the camera sensors. There are actually two large circular camera cutouts stacked vertically on the left side of the camera module. One of these cutouts is said to house a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with ‘Optical Image Stabilization’ (OIS) support. Again a small cutout is noticeable right in the middle, which will probably house the macro sensor. Again on the top right edge is a ring-shaped LED and just below it is the brand logo.
The hands-on image released is a bit blurry. However, it is understood that the upcoming handset from the Redmi company will offer a dual-tone design back panel. Again will likely come with curved edges to provide better grip.
As we mentioned earlier, the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone has been fully approved by Geekbench. The listing of which confirmed the information regarding the processor variant. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM.
Let us know that a Redmi brand phone was spotted on the 3C or CCC certification site last month. It is believed to be the Redmi Turbo 3. According to the listing on the site, the listed phone will support 90W charging.
Also, some earlier reports claimed that the handset will launch later this month with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,500mAh battery, and Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin.
