Last year, OnePlus’ Ace-branded phones did well in the Chinese market in terms of sales. This trend is expected to continue with the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro models. However, nothing has been officially announced about these handsets by the company. But now a prominent tipster has claimed that the OnePlus Ace 3V phone with the new Qualcomm processor will hit the Chinese market in March itself. Besides, the same source has also leaked various interesting specifications of the phone.
OnePlus Ace 3V may be launched next month
Well-known tipster digital chat station shared in a recent Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post that the upcoming OnePlus S3V phone will be launched in the Chinese market next month and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen series processor. The tipster mentions that this chipset carries the model number SM7675.
Incidentally, the chip bearing the model number SM7675 is rumored to be the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, which is claimed to be able to offer performance equivalent to the flagship grade Snapdragon 8-series processor. According to the report, it will have the same Cortex-X4 primary core as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will definitely improve it in terms of performance. The chip will likely be paired with up to 16GB of RAM.
Additionally, DCS said that the OnePlus Ace 3V will feature a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Besides, the phone is expected to have a large 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Notably, another source revealed last month that the OnePlus Ace 3V will have a plastic frame and glass back panel. The phone is likely to come in both flat and curved-edge screen variants.
Although the OnePlus Ace 2V launched in March last year was limited to the Chinese market, it was later launched in the global market as the OnePlus Nord 3. Hence, the upcoming Ace 3V might be rebranded as OnePlus Nord 4 or Nord 5 in the global market. So far, this is all that is known about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone. However, more information about the handset is expected to surface online in the near future.
