Royal Enfield has already announced plans to launch four new motorcycles in 2023. After introducing the Super Meteor 650 in January, the Chennai-based company is gearing up to launch the bobber or single seat version of its best-selling motorcycle Classic 350. The bike has already been spotted multiple times during testing on the country’s roads. In this report we will know about the possible features of Bobber version of Classic 350.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 bobber may be launched this year
The upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350 bobber is based on a down tube frame and ‘J’ series platform to exude retro style. It features a teardrop shaped fuel tank, round headlamps, high handlebars with chrome mirrors, rider only saddle, large rear fender and blacked out exhaust. The bike will ride on wire spoke wheels with white-wall tires.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 bobber will continue to ensure the safety of the rider in case of sudden braking or slippage on wet roads. And disc brakes will be provided on both wheels to improve braking performance overall. Apart from this, the presence of telescopic forks and dual shock absorber system at the front and rear respectively is expected to be noticed to handle the suspension duties.
When it comes to engine performance, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber is powered by a 349 cc, air-oil cooled, single cylinder, J series powertrain. Which is also present in Meteor 350 Cruiser. It produces 20 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque. It will be accompanied by a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber will sit between the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350 in the company’s lineup. After the launch, the bike is likely to be priced at Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Jawa 42 Bobber can be taken as the counterpart of bobber motorcycle in this country.
