Vivo Y55s was revealed as the new budget 5G smartphone with the largest battery ever given in a Vivo phone. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek 5G chipset, waterdrop notch display, Dual rear camera, large battery, fast charging, and more. Later last month High resolution renders and specifications of the device surfaced online and yesterday it went official in China.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM with 4GB Virtual RAM support and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage with no expandable storage option.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 11 with origin OS 1.0 on top.
