Vivo V21s 5G sports a 6.44 inches AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (1080 x 2404 pixels) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 16M display colors. The smartphone is fueled by an MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 800U Octa-core processor that comes coupled with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. The device is running on Android 12 with Fun touch 12 UI on top. The handset has dimensions of 159.7 x 73.9 x 7.3 mm and weighs 176 grams.

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The phone sports an 44-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The smartphone is supported by a 4000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging.
