ZTE S30, 30 Pro and 30 SE launched: Specs, Price

ZTE S30, 30 Pro and 30 SE have been launched in China. The Chinese tech company has unveiled its new S series lineup today. All the smartphone supports 5G connectivity and runs on the new MyOS based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

ZTE S30 SE

ZTE S30 SE features a 6.67-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a top centre positioned punch hole selfie camera. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU and coupled with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. In terms of camera, The handset is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-Megapixel (primary) camera + 5-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor. It packs a massive 6000mah battery and supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

ZTE S30 sports a 6.67-inches 20:9 LCD FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz high refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 93.1 per cent screen to body ratio and a punch-hole cutout at the top centre. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimesnity 720 SoC and paired with up to 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. In terms of the camera, It has a Quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera + 8-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor. For selfie & videos, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The device packs a 4000mah battery and supports 30W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, The smartphone has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port. Coming to the sensor, It supports an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

ZTE S30 Pro comes with a 6.67 inches AMOLED display that features FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels). The screen has 800 nits of peak brightness, 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR 10+ support, 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, It is powered by the Snapdragon 768G SoC, and paired with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. In terms of optics, The handset is equipped with a Quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera + 8-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, The smartphone equips with a 44-Megapixel selfie shooter.

It is fueled by a 4200mah battery and supports 55W fast charging. It has 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and a USB type C port for the connectivity option. For sensors, the ZTE S30 includes the support of an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, The thickness of the device is about 7.8mm and weighs 178 grams.

ZTE S30 / S30 E / S30 Pro Price & Availability

• ZTE S30E comes in a single variant of 6GB + 128GB storage that is priced at 1,698 Yuan (around Rs 18,943).
• ZTE S30 features in two RAM & storage configuration – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage which is available for 2,198 Yuan (around Rs 24,557) whereas the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version carries a price tag of 2,398 Yuan (around Rs 26,791).
• lastly, ZTE S30 Pro launched in a single variant of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which costs 2998 Yuan (around Rs 33,494).

All three devices are going to be available from 3rd April in China. Interested buyers can purchase them from JD.com. There is no confirmation on when the devices will be available in global markets.
