Zelio Ebikes has launched the new X Men electric scooter in India. It does not require a license to drive as it is low-speed. Design is one of the attractions of this battery scooter.
The sale of electric scooters in the low-speed category is increasing steadily in India. The demand for these two-wheelers is highest among teenage to middle-aged buyers. Because the lower speed ensures better safety compared to the other two wheels. No license required to drive at the same time. So EV startup Zelio Ebikes has come up with such an electric scooter. Their new model is called Zelio X Men. Even if the company doesn't say it, you must understand that the scooter is named after the popular Marvel superhero. The price has been kept at Rs 64,543 to Rs 87,573 (ex-showroom).
Zelio X Men electric scooter launched in India
Priced at Rs 64,543, the entry-level Zelio X Men e-scooter comes with a 60 volt/32 amp hour lead acid battery. From which a maximum range of 55-60 km is available. Charging 7-8 hours. The mid variant priced at Rs 67,073 uses a 72 volt/32 amp hour lead acid battery. It is claimed to have a range of 70 km on a full charge. The battery will take 7-9 hours to fully charge.
The top variant of the Zelio X Men is priced at Rs 87,673. The 60 volt/32 amp hour lithium ion battery present in it will give a range of 80 km. Charging time is 4 hours. Jellio says its electric scooter has a 60/72 volt BLDC motor, which consumes 1.5 units of electricity per charge. This slower model has a top speed of 25 km per hour. Weight is only 80 kg. And the load capacity is 180 kg.
The Zelio X Men is available in a total of five variants depending on battery and performance. Special features include anti theft alarm, front disc brakes, front alloy wheels, a digital instrument console, central locking, reverse gear, parking switch, auto repair switch, USB charging and hydraulic shock absorbers. It is available in a total of four color options – Black, White, Sea Green and Red.
