The new Carbon Fiber Pattern Edition of the Yamaha R15M has been launched in India today. The new model of the country's most popular budget friendly sports bike has been priced at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). The color scheme is inspired by the full carbon fiber R1M. Incidentally, the carbon fiber edition R15M and R1M were unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo event earlier this year. .
According to Yamaha, the R15M bike has this carbon fiber pattern etched through water dipping technique. The finishing is done so perfectly that the side panels appear to have real carbon fiber. Apart from the cosmetic upgrade, the Yamaha R15M range has also improved in terms of features.

The color TFT display will now offer turn-by-turn navigation, volume and music controls. These features can be accessed via the Yamaha Y-Connect app by connecting to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Switchgear has been updated as well. There is an LED light for the license plate holder.

Besides, there are no changes to the Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber Edition. The sports bike's 155 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine produces 18 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Note that the standard R15M silver color option with new updates to the TFT console will cost Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
