Xiaomi Mi Tv Lux Ultra 5G series launched with 4K and 8K resolution


Xiaomi Mi Tv Lux Ultra 5G series has been launched with 4K and 8K resolution in China. Both of the TV. The Mi TV LUX Ultra 82-inch 8K 5G is the company’s first TV with 82-inch 8K mini LED panel and 5G connectivity. Both of the smart TV runs on MIUI for TV 3.0 out of the box.

Mi Tv Lux Ultra 5G 8K features an 82-inches 8K (7680×4320 pixels) resolution display with 2,000 nits of brightness, 4,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and 10.7 billion colors. The company also claimed that the panel on this Xiaomi television has 960 local dimming zones and each of these zones can display 4,096 levels of light and shade. Along with this, the panel also covers 98% of P3 wide color gamut.


Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core NOVATEK SoC, ARM Maili-G51 GPU, and paired with up to 4GB RAM. In terms of storage, It comes with 256GB of internal storage. For connectivity, It has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, infrared sensor, 3 x HDMI 2.1 (including 1 x 8K input, 1 x  ARC),  1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.0, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a Fiber Optic port, an AV port, an antenna port, a SIM card slot. It also has an RGB LED strip for aesthetics.


For Sound, it comes with the support of a 60W dual-soundbar that has 8-unit speakers with a 2.5L sound cavity which is powered by Doby Atmos, DTS-HD, and  Mi Stereo Sound. Additionally, It has 4 x far-field microphones so that users can interact with the television via Xiaomi’s XiaoAI 3.0 voice assistant.


Moreover, it also includes the support of popular HDR standards such as Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, 120Hz MEMC, Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and noise reduction algorithm as well. Users can also enjoy Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X 8K gaming on this television.


Mi TV LUX Ultra 5G – 4K resolution specification



Xiaomi Mi TV LUX Ultra 5G 4K features a (3840×2160 pixels) IPS LCD panel with an LED backlight. The display has a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 1,40,000:1 contrast ratio, 240 local dimming zones with 4,096 levels of light and shade, 93% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, and 97.3% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset, Mali-G52 MC1 GPU, and paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.


In terms of sound, It includes the support of 30W 6-unit dual-speaker powered by Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, and Mi Stereo Sound. For connectivity, It has 4 x far-field microphones, infrared sensor, RGB LED strip, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI ( 1 x 4K 120Hz, 1  x ARC), 2 x USB, and Antenna port, an AV port, and a Fiber Optic port.


Additionally, It also used HDR standards – Dolby Vision,  HDR10, HDR10+ & HLG, noise reduction algorithm, and 120Hz MEMC.


Pricing


The standard 82-inch 4K Mi TV carries a price tag of CNY 9,999 (around Rs. 1,08,000) in China while the 82-inch 8K mini-LED Mi TV Master ‘Extreme Edition’ has been priced at CNY 49,999 (around Rs. 5,40,500). The company has not confirmed any information related to its international availability.
