Xiaomi Mi Band 5 officially launched in China with eight strap color options, up to 20 days battery life and NFC enabled variant. Mi fitness band very popular not in China but in other countries too, because of its features or especially value for money price. So Today, Xiaomi Launched the Predecessor of Mi band 4 with some new features or updates.
Mi Band 5 Specifications
Xiaomi Mi Band 5 comes with 1.1 colored AMOLED display, which has over 100 new animated watch faces. It offers you Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) Which helps users to track their fitness data more accurately. Mi band 5 has 11 sports modes and an improved sleep monitoring system which tracks the user sleep 40 percent more accurately.
Women’s health mode is also added in this band, which helps females to track their menstrual cycle. New remote control features added to the band that allows users to take pictures from their smartphone and as like earlier version heart rate monitor is also present.
Users will access social media notifications, music control, incoming calls, text, weather updates, and more on the smart band. NFC enabled variant let users to make their payments directly from the Band. Mi Band 5 packs 14 days of battery life while the base variant is said to last up to 20 days on a single charge.
Price and Availability
The base variant Xiaomi Mi Band 5 starts from CNY 189 which is around 2000 Rs and NFC enabled version starting from Rs 2500. Mi 5 band available in 4 color options Red, Black, Yellow, and Green. Xiaomi has not said anything about the presence of virtual assistant on the Mi Band 5 but leaks have suggested that the new tracker will come with Alexa-support for the global markets. However, there is no confirmation of the launch of the Mi Band 5 in India.
