Triumph in association with Bajaj Auto has recently launched a pair of their most affordable motorcycles in India. These are – Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. While the price of the first has been announced, the price of the second model will be revealed in October this year, Triumph said. Currently, bookings for Speed 400 are only available from Triumph’s website. For this first go to the Indian website and select your state and city. After clicking on the ‘Book Now’ option, the page for filling information about yourself will open. Where you have to give your name, phone number and area etc. information. After filling these, the name and address of the nearest dealership will appear on the website.
After filling the form with all the information an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. 2,000 to be paid for booking Speed 400 after submitting it on the website. The company said that if someone wants to cancel after booking, this money is fully refundable. The bike is priced at Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom) but will be given to the first 10,000 buyers for Rs 2.23 lakh.
Incidentally, the Speed 400 is powered by a 398.15 cc, single cylinder engine. From which 39.5 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of torque will be available. 6-speed gearbox connected to the motor. It has ABS and traction control. Triumph offers LED illumination and semi-digital instrument console on the bike. There are three color schemes – Carnival Red, Phantom Black and Caspian Blue.
