Kodiaq SUV is one of the most popular cars of Skoda India in the Indian market. The company announced to reduce the price of the car before the launch. The seven-seater SUV model is available in three variants – Style, Sportline and Lauren & Klement (L&K). The top spec model L&K can now be bought for Rs 2 lakh cheaper, the company has announced.
Skoda has reduced the price of Kodiaq SUV by Tk 2 lakh
The Skoda Kodiaq L&K was earlier priced at Rs 41.99 lakh, but will now cost Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Although the price has been reduced, there has been no change in the features of the car. As before, it will run on a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo petrol engine. Its output is 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque.
The list of competitors of the car in the Indian market is – Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, Hyundai Tucson and MG Gloster. Incidentally, Skoda recently launched Kushaq SUV and Slavia SUV. The first model is rivaled by – Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.
It may be noted that the testing of Skoda’s upcoming SUV was recently seen in the Indian market. The car is expected to be powered by a 1.0 liter three cylinder turbo petrol engine. It will generate 115 bhp of power.
