Vodafone-Idea has revised its two Rs 129 and Rs 298 plans. These are the 4G plans of the telecom company, as the 5G services of the company have not started yet. Jio and Airtel, on the other hand, have started rapidly expanding 5G services in the country. In such a situation, Telco is making changes in its plan to retain its customers. Apart from this, the telco has also recently launched a Rs 181 data pack.
Vodafone-Idea Rs 129 and Rs 298 plan details
Rs 129 prepaid plan: In the Rs 129 plan of the telecom operator, users now get unlimited calling and 200MB data for 18 days. However, users do not get the benefit of the message in this plan. In this, you will have to pay Rs 1 for local SMS, Rs 1.5 for STD SMS and Rs 5 for ISD messages.
Rs 298 prepaid plan: In this plan of Vodafone-Idea, users get 50GB data for 28 days, Vi Movies and TV Classic access to premium movies, originals, news and live TV.

Vi 181, 289, 429 new plans
Vodafone-Idea has recently introduced a data plan of Rs 181. In this, the telecom company is providing 1GB data per day for 30 days, which means users will get 30GB data. After 1GB data is exhausted it will reset again after 24 hours. The telecom operator has launched two plans of Rs 289 and Rs 429, apart from the Rs 181 plan, which are available for 78 days.
- Vodafone-Idea’s Rs 289 plan offers 4GB data, 600 messages and unlimited calling for 48 days. This pack is a better option for users who are using Vodafone-Idea as a secondary SIM.
- Vodafone Idea also has a new plan of Rs 429, in which users get the facility of 1000 messages in a day. This plan comes with unlimited calling and 78 days validity. The pack also offers 6GB data for the same duration. This long-term plan seems to be a good option for those looking for unlimited calling benefits. Both the packs are available on the company’s website and Vi app.
More benefits will be available in the plans of Airtel and Jio
It is also important to note here that all these packs offer only 4G services, while Jio and Airtel offer 5G services in the country. However, both the major telecom operators offer more benefits with the Rs 299 plan, which is Re 1 costlier than Vi’s plan. Airtel’s Rs 299 pack offers unlimited calling facility. There is 1.5GB data per day and 100 messages for 28 days, while the Rs 299 Jio pack also offers 2GB data per day, 100 messages per day, free access to JioCloud, JioTV, JioCloud, and JioSecurity.
