Following in the footsteps of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea aka VI has also hiked the prices of each of its recharge plans. In this case, customers have to shell out extra money even if they buy data add-on packages along with prepaid and postpaid plans. The telecom operator's entry level prepaid plan used to cost Rs 179, which has now gone down to Rs 199. Again the price of the annual plan has increased up to 600 rupees. Thus, Vodafone Idea has increased the tariff of its recharge plans by up to 20%, which will be effective from 4th July. Below are the new prices for each of VI's plans –
Vodafone Idea Prepaid Plan New Prices
Plan with one month validity of VI
- Rs 199 Plan: This entry-level prepaid plan was priced at Rs 179, which has been increased to Rs 199. It has a validity of 28 days and a total of 2 GB data available.
- Rs 299 plan: Earlier the price was 269 Tk. Now it has been increased to 299 rupees. 1 GB data can be used daily for 28 days.
- Rs 349 plan: The price of this plan of Rs 299 has increased to Rs 349. It will also be valid for 28 days. 1.5 GB data per day will be provided.
- Rs 379 plan: The price has increased from Tk 319 to Tk 379. Will be valid for 30 days. Also 2 GB data will be offered daily.
Plan with two month validity of VI
- Rs 579 plan: Earlier, the cost to buy this plan was Rs. 479. Now 100 taka more i.e. 579 taka have to be deducted. Its validity is 56 days and you will get 1.5 GB data per day.
- Rs 649 plan: The price of this plan from Rs 539 has increased to Rs 649. Access to 2 GB data per day for 56 days will be provided.
VI's three month plan
- 509 Plan: Earlier the price was 459 Tk. Now it is 509 rupees. A total of 6 GB data will be available for 84 days.
- 859 plan: The price of the recharge plan of Rs 719 has increased to Rs 859. Its validity is 84 days. 1.5 GB data will be given daily.
- Rs 979 plan: From next 4th of July, it will cost 979 taka to buy a prepaid plan priced at 839 taka. It will be valid for 84 days. And 2 GB data can be used daily.
Vodafone Idea recharge plan with 1 year validity
- 1999 Rs Plan: Earlier the price was 1799 rupees. Now it has increased to 1999 rupees. Comes with 1 year or 365 days validity. A total of 24 GB data will be available.
- Rs 3499 plan: After the tariff hike, the price of this plan, which was priced at Rs 2899, has increased to Rs 3499. It also comes with 1 year validity. Daily access to 1.5 GB data will be provided.
New Price of Data Add-on Plan:
- Rs 22 plan: The price of this data add-on of Rs 19 has increased to Rs 22. With this, a total of 1 GB data is available for 1 day.
- Rs 48 plan: The price has been increased from Tk 39 to Tk 48. Will be valid for 3 days. Total 6 GB data will be available.
Vodafone Idea Postpaid Plan New Prices
- Rs 451 plan: Earlier the price was 401 rupees. It has increased to 451 rupees. With this, 1 SIM support, 50 GB data, 200 GB data rollover will be available. Plus – any 1 OTT platform from Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, SunNext.
- 551 Plan: It has been increased from 501 to 551 rupees. Basic benefits include – 1 SIM support, 90 GB data, 200 GB data rollover. And the additional benefits include – Amazon Prime Video, Swiggy One, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, Sun Next, EasyMyTrip discount coupons on any 2 plans.
- Rs 701 plan: The price was 601 rupees. 701 has increased. With this – 2 SIM support, 70 GB primary + 40 GB add on data, 200 GB data rollover will be available. Also – Amazon Prime Video, Swiggy One, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, Sun Next, EasyMyTrip discount coupons will be offered on any 2 plans.
- 1201 rupees plan: The price of postpaid plan of Rs 1001 has been increased by Rs 100. That means now 1201 rupees will be spent. Plus – 4 SIM support, 140GB primary + 40GB data for each add-on, 200GB data rollover and any 2 plan benefits of Amazon Prime Video, Swiggy One, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, SunNext, EasyMyTrip discount coupons will meet
