Vivo Y55 4G was announced in Vietnam as the new budget 4G device from the Chinese Tech Giant. The 5G version of the phone was already revealed earlier this year in China with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It has identical specs to the Vivo T1 44W which was unveiled yesterday in India. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm’s 600 series octa-core chipset, Triple rear camera, dewdrop notch AMOLED display, big battery, fast charging, and more.

Vivo Y55 4G features 6.44 inches AMOLED display, 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 408 PPI pix density. In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. For selfies, the device sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the U-shaped notch.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor that comes coupled with an Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM with up to 4GB of extended RAM support and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. The device is 8.42mm thick and weighs around 182 grams.
The phone comes running on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 skin on top. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 44W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
