Vivo Y33s 5G was announced as the new budget 5G smartphone in China. The company has already revealed the 4G version of the device already back in October last year. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch display, dual rear camera, big battery, MediaTek entry-level 5G chipset, and more. Although, the phone was spotted on Geekbench a few days back and it is unveiled silently in China.

Vivo Y33s 5G flaunts a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 269ppi pixel density, and 20.07:9 aspect ratio. In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie sensor under the waterdrop notch.The device is running on Android 12 with Origin OS Ocean skin on top.
The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor built on 7nm fabrication process and is coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. The phone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging.
In terms of Diemnsions, the device measures 164 × 75.84 × 8.25mm and weighs 185 grams. Sensors onboard, the phone sports Gravity sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, Gyro (not physical), Electronic compass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port.

Vivo Y33s 5G comes in three configurations:

- 6GB + 128GB priced at 1,399 yuan ( Rs. 17,700 approx )

The smartphone comes in three color options namely Snow Dawn, Nebula Blue, and Fluorite Black. The phone is available for pre booking on the company’s China website.
