A number of companies are keen to expand the range of electric scooter options suitable for commercial use as well as personal use. One of which is Vegh Automobiles (Vegh Automobiles). The company has announced the official launch of their new electric two wheeler in the domestic market. This model of Business to Business or B2B segment is called – DR!EV. The company claims that the scooter can go up to 140 km on a full charge. The price is also low. And the most attractive thing is that being a low-speed model, no license or registration is required.
The Vegh DR!EV model will be available from March. Anyone can buy it from all dealerships and corporate channels of the company. Price ranges from Tk 70,000 to Tk 80,000. It offers adaptive riding modes – Eco, Power and Sport. Be it rural roads or urban roads, this electric scooter is capable of showing its magic in all conditions.
Vegh Drive has a maximum speed of 25 kmph. It is claimed to be able to run 120 to 140 km (tested range) on a full charge. It features a robust 48 volt lithium ion NMC battery and 1.9 kW electric motor. The company said that this battery is capable of providing service for a long time.
Again Vegh DR!EV features smart charging technology. In case of rapid charging, the company claims that 0-80% charge will be done in 3.5-4 hours. It has the ability to travel more distances in less time, saving the user time.
