The renaissance of electric two-wheelers has begun in India. Many well-known petrol bikes and scooters are coming to the market in electric avatars after changing their volume. The TVS XL 100 with slim design is the trust of busy people. It seems unbelievable but it is true. The XL 100 has been priced from Rs 44,999 to Rs 59,695 (ex-showroom). Today many people use this two wheeler for daily commuting as well as for transporting goods.
XL EV has been trademarked by TVS
TVS Motor Company has filed trademarks for a pair of new names in India. One of which is the TVS XL EV. And the other is E-XL. Presumably, the company will use it only for the battery-powered XL 100. The company has also previously filed a design patent for the battery version of the moped.
TVS has had the XL 100 in its portfolio for a long time. Sales are in the five digits every month. Inspired by the success of the company’s only EV model, the iQube, the company is planning to bring an electric version of the XL 100.
Incidentally, so far nothing is known about the features and specifications of the XL 100 Electric model. Currently, Kinetic E Luna is the only electric moped in the market. It costs Rs 64,990 to Rs 74,990 (ex-showroom).
