TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the new generation Jupiter, ending the wait. This is going to be the company's most important launch in recent times. TVS Jupiter 110 is coming to India on August 22 with new makeover and features. In terms of popularity, the name of TVS Jupiter comes after Honda Activa. Its 110cc version has been a bestseller for the past few years. It is going to appear in a more attractive avatar after getting the update.
It is heard that the new TVS Jupiter 110 is going to get a new design. Due to its age, the current model has a simple design, which does not attract much attention. TVS will reportedly add an urban design to the new Jupiter, giving it a youthful look in style. Jupiter 110 is basically a family scooter. TVS feels that the design needs to change to attract the younger generation. The new version is coming to meet the needs of the buyers.
The teaser shows tall LED DRLs across the front panel of the new TVS Jupiter 110. The side and tail sections are also going to be new. Needless to say, it will look more modern than the current model. There will be new graphics and color options. While TVS is still tight-lipped, it might get a digital display, navigation, mobile charging port, and external fuel filler cap.
Barring design and features upgrades, the Jupiter's engine and hardware remain unchanged. Its 109.7 cc air-cooled engine produces 7.77 bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. Comes with CVT gearbox. For suspension, there will be telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. The price (ex-showroom) of the Jupiter 110 in the new avatar is expected to start at Rs 77,000.
