TVS Italy: TVS attacked Benelli-Ducati, launched the formidable Apache bike

India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company is dreaming of expanding its business globally. So the company announced its entry into Italy. They have planned to launch several petrol and electric scooters and bikes in that country. Currently TVS sells two wheelers in 80 countries of the world.

TVS entered the Italian market

Sharad Mohan Mishra, president and head of group strategy, TVS Motor Company, said, “Entering the Italian market is a strategic step towards our ambition to expand our business globally.” On the other hand, TVS Motor Italia director Giovanni Furnari said, “TVS Motor Italia has demonstrated its confidence and long-term strategy for this country market by establishing a branch office and offering both ICE-electric products.”

TVS will sell a total of eight two-wheelers in the Italian market. These include the Apache 310 range, Ronin and Raider 125. The company has also launched Jupiter 125 and NTorq scooters there. Other models include their electric scooter range iQube and X.

Incidentally, TVS Motor Company in India has recently launched two new variants of its only electric scooter iQube. These are the 2.2 kWh iQube and the 3.4 kWh TVS iQube ST. The two models are priced at Tk 94,999 and Tk 1.55 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
