Last year, Triumph launched their most affordable bike Speed 400 in India in association with Bajaj Auto. And today the company launched a new model at a lower price than the Speed 400. The name of the new motorcycle is Triumph T4. You will be surprised to hear that it will cost Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom). This means that this is currently the cheapest Triumph bike in the Indian market.
Customers can buy the Triumph T4 in India in three color options – white, red and black. The company has touted the T4 model as the successor to the Speed 400. Aesthetically, this bike only gets a new color scheme and is similar to the Speed 400 in the mechanical or hardware department.
The chassis of the Triumph T4 remains unchanged. However, the front has conventional telescopic forks instead of upside-down forks for suspension. This step is to reduce costs and launch at an affordable price. The bike will run on 17 inch wheels. It uses a 399 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine.
