Reliance Jio has developed a portfolio of products for both consumers and enterprises to deliver its technology across the globe. This includes IoT, (Internet of Things) products and telecom radios among others.
Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, is looking to expand globally. But this is not a new plan of the company. Because, quite some time ago it was heard that Jio had applied for a partnership with a telecom operator in Sri Lanka. But now a report claims that Reliance Jio has developed a list of products for both consumers and enterprises to bring its technology to the world. This includes IoT, (Internet of Things) products and telecom radios among others.
Currently Jio is under Reliance Industries Limited, but in the future the company also plans to list as a separate entity on the Indian stock market. And Reliance Industries Limited said Jio's product sales in international markets will help ensure strong and consistent shareholder returns in the coming years.
Meanwhile, Jio has reported in its annual report that it has filed more than 1,000 patents. And they have been granted more than 100 patents in 2024 financial year. These patents are for 6G, 5G, AI, LLM, Deep Learning, Big Data, Devices, LOT and NB-LOT products.
Let us know that Reliance Jio is also starting to work on its own AI i.e. artificial intelligence. And they have already launched several features including Jio Translate. Notably, the company also demonstrated the functionality of Jio Translate at IMC i.e. Indian Mobile Congress 2024 last year.
Notably, Jio's indigenously developed 5G stacks now handle 30 percent of data traffic on Jio's networks. And Jio expects that as more customers use 5G devices and recharge the telecom operator's 5G prepaid plans, their data traffic will increase.
Besides, Jio has also launched a 4G feature phone at an affordable price. According to the company, it is currently only available in the Indian market, but in the future, it may see a huge demand in developing countries like Africa.
