The company has announced, this time their flagship models Range Rover (Range Rover) and Range Rover Sport (Range Rover Sport) will be assembled in the country. This will be the first time in the company's history that these models will be produced outside the UK. And that's why the price of the two cars in India has dropped drastically. Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are cheaper in India by Rs 56 lakh
The price of some versions of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUV has been reduced from Tk 29 lakh to Tk 56 lakh. Also the waiting period is reduced due to manufacturing in India. In other words, after booking the car, customers do not have to wait for delivery as before. Needless to say, Range Rover now being made-in-India made India's name brighter in the global automobile market.
The domestically produced Range Rover can now be optioned in the Autobiography variant. It is powered by a 3.0 liter petrol engine. Again the HSE variant of the car is available with a 3.0 liter diesel engine. These two powertrains will produce 394 bhp and 550 Nm and 346 bhp and 700 Nm of torque respectively. On the other hand, the Dynamic SE variant of the Range Rover Sport will be offered in petrol and diesel powertrain options.
Incidentally, delivery of Range Rover has already started. However, the delivery of the Range Rover Sport will have to wait until August 16, 2024. Range Rover price now starts from Tk 2.36 crore. While the Range Rover Sport costs Rs 1.40 crore, the Range Rover Velar costs Rs 87.90 lakh. And the price of Range Rover Evoque is Rs 67.90 lakh. All prices are as per ex-showroom price.
