Triumph today launched their cheapest bike Speed T4 in India as well as updated last year's Speed 400 model. New color options have been added to this modern retro bike. At the same time a few minor upgrades have been brought in to improve the riding experience. It will cost Rs 2.40 lakh to buy (ex-showroom).
The new version of the Triumph Speed 400 can now be bought in four attractive color options. The new paint schemes are Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Racing Red. Talking about other changes, the bike uses thicker foam on the seat. As a result, long distance riding will be improved.
In terms of performance, the Triumph Speed 400 remains completely unchanged. The bike's 399 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine produces 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Comes with six speed gearbox. It offers features like ride-by-wire throttle, full LED lighting, dual-channel ABS and semi-digital instrument cluster.

The new model has overtaken the Speed 400 to become Triumph's cheapest motorbike in India at the moment. It gets 30.6 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque.
