Telegram video calling feature is now finally released for their beta version users. If any want to test beta version features of the App, then they have to download the version 0.7 beta or newer of the app from Microsoft’s App Center platform.
In March 2017, Telegram introduced a voice calling feature in their App. After nearly 3 years, The company now finally released the support of video calling. Currently, the update available only for 0.7 beta version users. The stable version of the App will get video calling update in a couple of days or weeks. Those who want to join the beta program can download the beta version of the App from Microsoft’s App Center platform and use it along with the regular Telegram app.

To access the video calling feature user has to tap on the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner of any chat and it’s enabled by default on the latest beta release. Users will be able to do a video call to only those people in the contact list who also have version 0.7 beta installed on their devices, as per a report by Android Police. Currently, there is no option for group calls but the feature will definitely come in the future.
The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode also available at the time of video calling. Along with the video calling feature, the latest Telegram beta also unveils that the app will soon receive support for Android 11’s Bubble notifications.
