Mahindra has already announced the launch of the facelifted version of their popular SUV, the XUV300 on April 29. However, instead of the old name, the new model will appear as Mahindra XUV3XO. This car is going to have multiple surprises. As the company has now said, it will be the first model in the segment to feature Level-Two Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology, which will play a special role in safety and self-driving. Let’s see what other features the car will have.
Mahindra XUV3XO has 10 ADAS safety features
In the sub-4-metre SUV segment, the Mahindra XUV3XO continues to set a precedent in terms of safety, as it offers Level 2 ADAS features. However, the company has not yet confirmed all the features of this Adas feature. Only ten different elements are said to be added to it. One of which is adaptive cruise control. Besides, as a first model in the category, the car will have disc brakes on four wheels and up to seven airbags.
Mahindra XUV3XO : Going to get panoramic sunroof
The Mahindra XUV3XO is the first SUV under 4 meters in length to get a panoramic sunroof. The cabin will feature a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.2-inch instrument screen, rear AC vents and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Besides, auto dimming IRVM, wireless mobile charger, rear USB port and new steering wheel will be seen.
Mahindra XUV3XO : No change in engine
The Mahindra XUV3XO will be available with the same powertrain as the current model. The car will appear with the same 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine as before. It gets a maximum power of 110 hp and 200 Nm of torque. Besides, the more powerful 1.2 liter T-GDI turbo petrol engine will get 130 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. And the 1.5 liter diesel engine will produce 117 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The car can be had with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed autoshift AMT transmission option.
