Tata Dark Edition: Tata Dark Edition car is launched in a fascinating way, you will be impressed

Today, Tata has launched the Nexon Dark Edition variant wrapped in black. It does not end here. Dark Edition of Nexon EV is also available in the market. Notably, the pre-facelift version of the Nexon and Nexon EV is already available with the Dark Edition.

Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Nexon EV Dark Edition are priced at Tk 11.45 lakh and Tk 19.49 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). Various changes have been observed in the design of the two special edition models. Nexon is already at the forefront of the SUV market in India. Then Tata is hopeful that this new variant will attract buyers.

Talking about the looks, the Nexon Dark Edition and Nexon EV Dark are covered by a striking black sheet in keeping with the name. It features an all black color scheme with black alloy wheels, black roof rails, and a black Tata logo. The cabin features a black theme with black leatherette seats, dashboard and center console.

No changes have been made to the powertrain of this special edition car in the world of power going forward. The 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine will produce 87 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. It comes with 6-speed manual, AMT or DCT gearbox options. Again, the 1.5 liter diesel engine produces 84.4 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. It can be bought with 6-speed MT and AMT.

Notably, the long range variant of the Nexon EV can be optioned in a Dark Edition version. It consists of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It produces a maximum power of 143 bhp and 215 Nm of torque. The 40.5 kWh battery pack provides a range of 465 km on a full charge. It should be noted that Tata has launched the dark edition of Harrier and Safari models today. Prices are Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 20.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
