Tata Motors today unveiled its first coupe-designed SUV in India, the Curve. Apart from petrol and diesel, the car will also be available in electric versions. Tata has released images of both the EV (Electric Vehicle) and ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) versions. The EV version will be launched first. It will be launched in India on August 7.
The Tata Curve EV comes in a color scheme called Virtual Sunrise. On the other hand, the ICE version is offered in Gold Essence paint option Talking about the design, the Tata Curve has LED DRLs like Nexon EV and Punch EV. Besides, the car has styling elements like triangular headlamp cluster, LED taillights, integrated black spoiler, shark fin antenna, etc.
The front grille and alloy wheel design differentiate the EV and ICE versions. The features list of Tata Curve is yet to be revealed. However, it is expected to get a panoramic sunroof, full digital instrument console, 360 degree camera, ventilated front seats, ADAS, and automatic climate control.
The Tata Curve can be offered with 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine options. The EV version can have a dual battery pack option and a single motor. The maximum battery capacity is said to be 56 kWh, which is enough to give a range of 550 km on a full charge. Now we have to wait till August 7th to confirm these specifications.
