Sony Xperia 8 Lite announced with Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB RAM: Specifications, Price

Sony has launched Sony Xperia 8 Lite with Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB RAM, and Dual rear camera in Japan. The design and specification of the smartphone seem to be similar to the Sony Xperia 10 that was launched last year at MWC. The phone comes in two color options- Black and White and runs on Android 10 out of the box.

Sony Xperia 8 Lite features a 6-inch full-HD+ LCD Triluminous display with 21:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, It is powered by the 14 nm octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC, Adreno 508 GPU and paired with 4GB RAM. In terms of storage, It has 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).


In the camera department, the phone is equipped with dual camera configuration that includes 12-Megapixel (primary) camera with an aperture of f/1.8 + 8-Megapixel (secondary) camera with an aperture of f/2.4. It has some preloaded camera features include 21:9 video capturing, bokeh effect, EIS, 2X digital zoom, 4K video recording, and more. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.


The device is packed with a 2,870mAh battery and support of standard 10W Charging. For Connectivity, It includes the support of 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and more. In terms of Sensors, It has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Besides, the Sony Xperia 8 Lite measures at 158x69x8.1mm, and weighs 170 grams. The device is IPX5/8 water resistance certified as well.


Sony Xperia 8 Lite Price
