Snapdragon 860 vs MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ – Benchmarks
The Snapdragon 860/855+ grabs a score of 728 in single-cores and 2520 in multi-cores on Geekbench 5 and the CPU + GPU scores of the processor is 3,27,796 on ANTUTU Benchmark. While the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ scores 780 in single-cores and 3066 in multicores and 3,41,714 scores in CPU + GPU on ANTUTU Benchmark. It can be clearly seen that the MTK Dimensity 1000+ has higher benchmark scores but it is noted that the benchmark scores vary from smartphones to smartphones so the actual performance can’t be judged on the basis of the benchmarks.
Conclusion
Both of the chipsets are comparable and can be considered for providing above-average performance undoubtedly. However, both the chipsets are quite old and can’t be said to excellent at this time because we have more chipsets that are capable of providing excellent performance. But if these chipsets are offered below Rs. 30,000 then both of them are considered as one of the best choices.
